July 22, 2008 -- The Rotary Club of White Plains is honored to have Brig. Gen. David S. Elmo address the membership. Elmo is originally from Yonkers. He received a Bachelor of Science in economics from Fordham University and three masters degrees: in real estate development from Columbia, in management from Webster University and in strategic studies from the U.S. Army War College. Elmo's assignment was platoon leader at Fort Bragg, N.C. As a reservist, he served in Panama, Kuwait (during Desert Storm), Germany, Iraq, Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina and throughout Europe. He is currently the commanding general for the 65th Regional Readiness Command in Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.
