What is a Rotary Club?

A Rotary Club is a local group of people who want to make a difference in the community. As we say: "do good, while having fun doing it!"

Each local Rotary Club is different, but all share the same values and goals of community service. Some Rotary clubs meet for lunch every week; others for breakfast or dinner twice a month. Some clubs are small, while others have literally hundreds of active members. Some clubs are e-clubs that meet online.

The Rotary Club of White Plains is predominantly a lunch club, meeting on Tuesdays normally. We enjoy the fellowship of others; we discuss our community projects; we usually have a stimulating speaker; we find it rewarding and we enjoy attending every meeting and event.

Intro Video (2:01 duration):

A short video by volunteer Steve Buckley in 2020 introduces the Rotary Club of White Plains.
The first 30 seconds is about Rotary International (over 40,000 clubs worldwide).
Then the video highlights many of our activities over the years.
Thanks to Steve for a nice tribute video. (duration 2:01)
