A District Governor!

David Schribman was born in the Bronx; at the age of 6, he moved to Yorktown Heights, NY. David graduated from Yorktown High School and received his college degree from Oneonta State College. David majored in elementary education at Oneonta, but he chose to pursue a career in insurance. For the past 35+ years he has been selling life, health and disability insurance to individuals and businesses. For the past 10+ years his primary focus has been setting up and administering group insurance plans for businesses that have between 2-50 employees.

David married Elly Soury in 1992 and moved to Rye, NY. Currently, Elly and David live in White Plains, NY and have a daughter named Amanda.

David has been a member of our the Rotary Club of White Plains since 1996. He has been a Board member, Chairman for numerous committees (membership and scholarship), awarded a Paul Harris Fellow for outstanding commitment, awarded the “Four Avenues of Service Citation” and served as our President from 2012-2013.

David has served as Rotary Assistant Governor of Area 5 (Hartsdale, Scarsdale, White Plains, Eastchester and Bronxville). The primary role of an A.G. is to assist the Governor with the administration of his assigned clubs. He makes himself available to club presidents and offers ideas and guidance throughout the year.

David will be District 7230 Governor in 2019-2020. We are proud of him!

David thanks Karl Milde for sponsoring him!
