ABC Wide World of Sports!
Chances are that Doug Wilson touched the lives of every one of us at one time or another when he served as Producer and Director of ABC’s "Wide World of Sports." WWOS revolutionized the way athletics was covered on television, and Doug Wilson was there every step of the way.

He provided anecdotes with famous athletes and personalities from that period such as Muhammad Ali and Howard Cosell, Peggy Fleming, Evel Knievel, Secretariat, Nadia Comaneci and Olga Korbut, Dorothy Hamill and many, many others as well as stories that happened with the ABC sports cameras rolling such as the tragedy in Munich.
