Today marked the return of our Rotary Club to in-person meetings (hooray!), PLUS we celebrated Saint Patrick day with a musical performance by our old friend Dennis Power. His last appearance with us was in March 2019, before the pandemic forced us into a long period of meeting via Zoom Click here to watch this 2-minute excerpt of Dennis singing.

NEW WESTCHESTER SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA HONORS COMMUNITY ICON HARRY BRIGHT APR. 23, 2022
WHITE PLAINS, NY - The New Westchester Symphony Orchestra celebrates civic service and community musicmaking with its Spring Concert. The community orchestra honors longtime orchestra member Harry Bright, who has been a fixture in civic leadership in White Plains and Westchester County. A member of the orchestra's first violin section since its early days, the ninety-plus-year old Honorable Mr. Bright has served as White Plains City Councilman (the first Black person to do so), the city's Rotary Club President, Chairman of the United Way of Westchester, and numerous philanthropic board positions. The orchestra celebrates Mr. Bright's lifelong dedication to music and education by naming in perpetuity the orchestra's concertmaster chair after him.
